'This book was brilliant from start to finish. I couldn't put it down and was desperate to see how it all ended'

This book had me hooked from the very beginning. It is about a 14-year-old girl named Ennor who lives with her younger brother, Trip, and her father. Ennor and her family aren't the most financially well-off and just as winter comes Ennor's dad becomes seriously ill, so she sets off in search of her mother. It isn't that easy though – Ennor has to travel through blizzards and gale force winds. Will she make it?

This book was brilliant from start to finish. I couldn't put it down and was desperate to see how it all ended. I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys a good adventure book or who enjoys reading books by Nataha Carthew because this was a truly great book.
