Author Robyn Tocker Releases ‘In A Cottage We Once Knew’

Written By Unknown on Friday, July 19, 2013 | 8:02 AM

(PRWEB) July 19, 2013 Regina, Saskatchewan - In her new book, "In A Cottage We Once Knew" (Published by iUniverse), the first in the Ever After Tales series, author Robyn Tocker meshes together a fantastical setting with the modern day world and its problems. It tells the story of what it means to be a family, the start of a first love and finding one’s identity.

The book transports readers to the 1500's in Germany, where Snow White's children, Matilda and Eldric embark on an adventure filled with witches, kidnappers, dwarfs, foster homes, love, strength, courage and sacrifices. The story revolves around the lives of Matilda and Eldric and how their experiences and hardships shape their destiny.

Excerpt from “In A Cottage We Once Knew”

"Yes, but what about our real parents? What about our real mother and father? Don't you even wonder what they are like? Don’t you want to find them and maybe, just maybe, figure out where we come from? Don’t you miss them?" Eldric exclaimed, smacking his palm down on the varnished table.

"How can you miss something we never even had! I know where I come from El. I'm from here, with you and the dwarves. What more do you want?" Matilda shot back.

"I need the truth! I need the facts, the hard evidence we have been denied since we were found," Eldric explained.

Matilda slammed her fist on the counter, causing El to jump. She was usually the calmer twin, especially during an argument, but it seemed he had struck a nerve.
