It’s National Non-Fiction Month this November, and here at the Teen book club we think that’s too good of an opportunity to be missed to try something a little bit different. So we brainstormed all the genres we could look at – science, travel writing, history, biography – and decided, after one of the most unpredictable General Elections ever and an astonishing outcome in the Labour leadership election, to settle on politics. A recent poll showed that 30% of teenagers say politics doesn’t affect their lives at all – here’s a book that proves otherwise.
