Black Helicopters by Blythe Woolston - review

'It had a good plot but it wasn't executed well'

It was slightly boring at parts but all in all it was okay. It was about a very depressing subject and it didn't tie up loose ends. It ended very suddenly and it was like there is going to be a second one but that is impossible (you'll have to read the book to understand why!). It was unclear and hard to understand. It had a good plot but it wasn't executed well. It was very confusing and it had me really confused and unsure about what was happening.

I think it would have been better if it wasn't written in first-person because it could've been explained more if you didn't have to stick to her point of view!

It is about a girl and her brother who were brought up in secrecy and no-body knew they existed. When their dad died they had to find sanctuary somewhere else.

I didn't enjoy as much as I thought I would and it didn't make me go 'wow'. It was a bit boring and depressing and it made me annoyed that anyone would put their daughter through that.

I would give it three out of ten, I didn't enjoy it at all.
