This book is Fantastic, Amazing, Brilliant, Interesting, Sad, Happy, Exciting, Incredible and Thought-out well! That's why you should read it!!!!!
This book is a very touching story of a child called Aman and his mother who live in Afghanistan. It tells us about how they suffered just to get to England. On the way there they both had a brave companion who was a English Springer spaniel. When they arrived in England they settled down for a bit but unfortunately they have to be sent to prison to be sent back to Afghanistan. Will there be someone who will save him????
This book is an easy-to-read book and it looks very big but it is short because I read it in 2 days. I give it a 10/10 because I like war and adventure stories and this very well written book. I would recommend it to people who like war, adventure and family life story's.
Michael Morpurgo's a good writer and he writes exceptional books about different genres. I think this book is aimed to children who are nine years old. I do recommend this book and most of Michael's collection.
