Penelope Crumb and her best friend Lizzie Maple are on a mission to find her grandpa Felix as he has been missing for a long time. Lizzie is very cheeky by pretending she is Penelope's mum and phones the school saying Penelope isnt well and cant come in to school, but really they are on this mission!!!
All they know is his name, Felix Crumb, and so they start phoning every F. Crumb that lives locally. Do they find Grandpa Felix or not? Read it and find out!!
The Crumb family nose is very important in this story and the reasons why make the book really funny!
I liked this book very much as it is very amusing and Penelope is a likeable character who likes get things done. I would love to have a friend like Penelope as she would be fun to be with!!
