‘David Walliams has created a wonderful plot and has really hooked the reader into the story’
Having read all of David Walliams’ previous books – I enjoyed them all – I knew that I was going to like this book. As expected, I was right and I could not put the book down!
This book is about a twelve year old boy named Jack and his grandfather, who was a famous pilot during the second world war. However, as Grandpa gradually becomes older, he starts to believe that the war is still happening, so he starts calling his grandson ‘Squadron Leader’ and is always devising plans to defeat Hitler.
