‘you’ll just have to trust me when I say that this book is worth reading’
I think it’s amazing to be able to write a book that teenagers and adult both like. I mean, my mum is extremely hard to please when it comes to books, and yet she put aside all her work and her painting to finish this. And it amazed me.
If you’ve not read the first one (The Knife of Never Letting Go) you probably won’t understand the story line or the characters, which some could take as a criticism but I think it is good because it makes you feel more part of the story. In real life people wouldn’t explain the history of everyone around them every time they see them, so why do they do that in sequels? I don’t really get it.
