The Butterfly Club by Jacqueline Wilson is a heartwarming story about Tina, one of a set of triplets, who was born smaller than her sisters and with a small heart.
In this story, Tina is dealing with a lot: Her scary teacher Miss Lovejoy and big scary bully Selma. One day, Miss Lovejoy asks Tina and Selma to make a butterfly garden together that no-one else is allowed to contribute to. But with her heart condition will she be able to take part? The story follows on with the butterfly garden and explores how bullies might not be as bad as they make out to be. It looks at the relationship between the two girls and how spending time together can change a persons perception of you.
