The shortlist for the Independent Bookshop Week book awards 2015 has been announced and Jacqueline Wilson, David Almond and Kate Saunders are just three of the authors who will battle it out for the children’s book prize. Waterstones children’s books prize-winner for 2015 Rob Biddulph is nominated again for his debut picture book Blown Away, along with older hands Emma Chichester Clarke and John Burningham.
There are 12 nominations in the children’s book category and 12 in the picture book category.
