BBC1 adaptation of Lady Chatterleys Lover to feature Games of Thrones star

Richard Madden lined up for Jed Mercurio-directed drama, which will air as one of a series of 20th century literature adaptations

Game of Thrones star Richard Madden will play gamekeeper Oliver Mellors in Jed Mercurios new adaptation of Lady Chatterleys Lover for BBC1.

Madden, who played Robb Stark in the HBO fantasy series, will star opposite Holliday Grainger (The Borgias) as Lady Chatterley and James Norton, who starred opposite Sarah Lancashire in BBC1s Happy Valley, as her war-wounded husband Sir Clifford Chatterley.
