Morito, a tapas joint in London's Clerkenwell, does not always make life easy for its diners. They don't take reservations and, on a summer's evening, you might have to wait for up to three hours. When you finally make it in, expect music, raucous chatter and wooden stools that even the owners concede are "really uncomfortable".
"You have to really want to eat there if you're over 50," admits Sam Clark, who oversees the kitchen at Morito and Moro, its plusher sibling restaurant next door, with his wife and business partner, also called Sam Clark. She adds modestly: "We must be doing something right."
