'The suspense gets you hooked within the first few pages – it kept me reading pretty much all day and night!'

I really enjoyed reading this book! In fact, it was so grabbing, it was hard to put down. It is a book about Tris and how she goes about finding herself. I loved the change in her attitude and how her personality strengthens. I also loved the author's ideas as to what would happen if society was divided into factions based around a specific attribute (honesty, selflessness, courage, intelligence, and kindness).

There were many moments where I found myself on the edge of my seat. The suspense gets you hooked within the first few pages – it kept me reading pretty much all day and night! Veronica Roth is a very touching author who brings out every detail to make this book truly amazing. I'm so happy she wrote this series! I found it very deep and thrilling.

The characters were really brought to life too. You could clearly picture them as well as their surroundings. I felt I could relate to some of the characters and though there were others that I didn't think much of to start with, nearer the end I realised that Roth would reveal more depth to them. I am looking forward to reading the next books!
