'I can't fault it! I would recommend it to teenage girls, but not for anyone younger'

United We Spy is the absolutely unputdownable and completely gripping finale in the Gallagher Girls series, which starts with I'd Tell You I Love You, But Then I'd Have To Kill you.

First off, it's very hard to tell you anything about the plot of this book, because it would completely ruin the other five books; a key element of the series is the twists and turns it takes, and the big surprises which it is littered with. So I will try to steer clear of any spoilers. Basically, make sure to read the books in order, otherwise they will make no sense.

United We Spy is everything that fans of this series will have been waiting for. The mysteries are finally cleared up, although I'm still a little hazy on some of the finer points of detail. It's pretty confusing. I read this book in a couple of days, and it is brilliant! The characters are as engaging as ever, and you never know what is truly going on until the very end.

Much like the Harry Potter series, the books have got progressively 'darker' as the series goes on, and as the characters grow up from little girls to women in a dangerous profession. That's partly what this book is about; finishing school and growing up. One of the remarks that Cammie, the main character, makes often is this: will she live to see graduation? And for her, this isn't a joke about too much work or exams. She truly doesn't know, she has to live each day as it comes.

I can't really go into much more detail for fear of spoiling it, but it is a fantastic and intriguing story, which certainly deserves to be read and followed through to the end. This in a way is what Cammie and her friends are trying to do; see everything through to the end. Finish it.

I would rate this book 10/10, for all the reasons mentioned above. I can't fault it! I would recommend it to teenage girls, but not anyone younger. An incredible series in which each book gets better and better.
