The Haunting of Charity Delafield by Ian Beck - review

'I really enjoyed this gripping tale by Ian Beck - I would definitely recommend this book'

In a big, old, prison-like house called Stone Green Hall lives a young girl - Charity Delafield. After her mother's disappearance, Charity has been forbidden to explore or leave the house.

But every night she has the same dream. A dream of a long corridor lit by candles, and a heavy locked door. Then one day she stumbles across that very door. She also discovers a very strange diary that will unpick the secrets of her family.

I really enjoyed this gripping tale by Ian Beck - I would definitely recommend this book to anyone aged 8+. I rate it 10/10.
