FriesenPress offer self-publishing services to authors of fiction, non-fiction, poetry and children’s literature. This comprises book services, marketing services and promotional services.
Book Services
Included within book services offered by FriesenPress are editorial services such as copyediting, content editing, proofreading and editorial evaluation. Design services include illustrations; cover design and indexing are also offered.
Also offered are distribution services such as book return insurance, fulfillment insurance and access to an eBook distribution network.
Pre-publication, production and post-publication services (such as copyright registration) are also available.
Marketing Services
Publicity and marketing services offered by FriesenPress include media promotion services such as book cover marketing evaluation, back cover rewrite services, book promotion planning, press release services, radio and T.V. media training, print media training and professional review services.
Also offered are internet promotion services such as social media promotion planning, online media training, author web site creation and Google Books/Barnes & Noble ‘See Inside’ promotion. Authors may also opt for Amazon’s ‘Look Inside’.
Print advertising services in addition to sales monitoring are offered too.
Promotional Services
The promotional services of FriesenPress are primarily the production and supply of promotional materials such as bookmarks, postcards, business cards, posters and free standing banner displays.

The services FriesenPress provides are bundled into several packages. They are; • Niche Market Starter – for books targeted at select audiences such as business clients or family and friends. Included in this package are book production services. • Mass Market Essentials – for books targeted at a wide audience. Included in this package are book production services and some marketing services. • Mass Market Bestsellers – for books targeted at a wide audience with sustained demand from consumers and publishers. Included in this package are book production services, advanced marketing services and extended promotional services
FriesenPress Bookstore
As part of the marketing and promotion of their authors work, published authors are included on the FriesenPress Bookstore which utilises print on demand technology provided by the company’s parent, Friesens Corporation - a book printing company based in North America.
